StrayHat is a platform that helps parents and school communities to stop children losing their hats, coats, jumpers and musical instruments. With 80% of school aged losing things each year, its a problem that we think needs fixing. StrayHat melds 'smart' label technology with a Smartphone app to collaboratively crowd-source the finding of lost school items. The platform allows users for the first time to track lost items, and inform them of property location when found. It also provides schools a free system to clean up the piles of lost items in their school yards.
