Changes at Frost & Sullivan: Andrew Milroy to lead ICT practice

Announcement posted by Frost & Sullivan 14 Feb 2008

Frost & Sullivan Australia is pleased to announce that Andrew Milroy has been appointed head of the ICT practice in ANZ.  Milroy will be responsible for the continued success of the team and will take on responsibility for consulting, research and sales.

“We are thrilled to have someone with Andrew's skills and experience leading our ANZ team”, says Manoj Menon, partner at Frost & Sullivan. “We believe his talent as an analyst, communicator and manager will raise the bar within our organisation”.

Milroy’s professional experience spans 15 years in the ICT industry and he has held senior positions in the United States, Europe and Asia Pacific. He was also co-founder of NelsonHall, an outsourcing advisory firm in the US. Since joining Frost & Sullivan Australia in 2006, Milroy has been instrumental in the establishment and growth of the ICT practice.

Commenting on his appointment, Milroy said, "I am very excited about this opportunity, Frost & Sullivan's ability to mix in depth industry expertise with its ICT capabilities positions us to become the largest supplier of ICT market intelligence and consulting in ANZ".

In addition to Milroy’s appointment, Frost & Sullivan Australia is expanding coverage of the digital media adverting and unified communications (UC) industries to include the rest of Asia Pacific.

The decision to expand was a result of continued strong interest from markets across the APAC region, in which digital media advertising and UC are key growth areas.

“The ANZ team has developed unparalleled expertise in several emerging markets. Indeed, our expansion plans will strengthen Frost & Sullivan's dominance as the leading trusted advisor in these content areas”, added Milroy.

To support these expansion plans, research managers Audrey William and Darryl Nelson have both been promoted to senior research manager and will be expanding their teams across the region.
