Wyse Promotes from Within to Help Bolster Sales and Foster Closer Customer Ties

SYDNEY, Australia – April 1, 2008 – Wyse Technology, the global leader in thin computing, today announced that it has appointed Ward Nash to Director of Sales for the Asia Pacific Region. His new duties and responsibilities will include managing marquee accounts, building strong local partnerships with VMware, Citrix and Microsoft, as well as overseeing overall sales in the region.

“Over the past five years, Ward has become an integral part of the Wyse sales team spearheading our explosive growth in this region,” said Maryam Alexandrian, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Channels for Wyse Technology Inc. “Nash poses the skills, expertise and track record we’re looking for to help take Wyse to the next level. This will not only involve promoting the advantage of thin computing but outlining how our customers can leverage the latest developments in desktop virtualization.”

Ward joined the Wyse Australia team in 2003 having previously worked for Wyse in their San Jose headquarters. Thin computing was attracting a lot of interest and Nash was quick to build on good foundations to help Australian companies make the transition from client server to thin computing.

Maryam states that “Ward has taken thin computing to a new level in the region and he is right at the cusp of developments in virtual desktop computing. I know his consistent success is a result of a lot of hard work and a credit to the strong relationships he has built with our customers and business partners.”
