3Com appoints new account director in Australia

3Com Corporation, a leading provider of secure converged networking (SCN) solutions for enterprises of all sizes, today announced the appointment of Ron Giezekamp to the role of Account Director for 3Com Australia.

Giezekamp’s appointment is among the first in a recruitment drive for 3Com Australia.   In his new role, Giezekamp will focus on fostering 3Com’s client relationships and generating new business for its best-of-class products. Giezekamp will also continue to drive expansion of 3Com’s base of robust, easy-to-use solutions that provide customers with fast returns on investment, increased productivity and high-performance communications.

Giezekamp joined 3Com after 12 years with Hewlett Packard Australia. Previously, he held various positions at Compaq Computer, including providing strategic sales direction for the company as an enterprise account manager. Giezekamp has received multiple sales awards throughout his career, including sales expert status when he was with Cisco.
