New Direction, New Website and New Owners for MassMedia Studios

Announcement posted by MassMeda 19 Mar 2009

Successful interactive communications company changes tact to focus on campaign intelligence.
Sydney, Australia, 22 January 2009: MassMedia Studios, a leading interactive communications company, has recently announced a significant change in direction to focus on ‘campaign intelligence’ while also unveiling a new website and new ownership after BlueFreeway increased its stake in the company to 100% late last year.

The changes will see MassMedia well placed in 2009 and beyond. The move to centre its activities on campaign intelligence will see the company provide relationship marketing services to its clients to help them build better relationships with their own customers.

While they offer these services to clients already, it’s something MassMedia has decided to specialise in from this point forward after selling off its e-learning business and moving away from large application development. As a result of this change in direction, MassMedia has employed specialists in the area of relationship marketing and some staff have been re-skilled to assist them in making the transition across to a campaign intelligence environment.

Steve Fanale, Chief Executive Officer, MassMedia Studios commented: “We’ve spent a great amount of time reviewing our activities and analysing how we can provide additional value and better service our clients. We’ve had to make some big decisions but having gone through the process, we now know our company and brand much better. This focus on campaign intelligence is one that will see us streamline our activities to become a specialist in this field.”

“The new direction, fresh new website and becoming wholly owned by BlueFreeway has meant a number of changes but we’re confident that this is a step in the right direction for the company,” continued Fanale.

The new website provides an interesting peek into the culture of MassMedia, being creative, fun and innovative.

Fanale said, “Our aim was to create a website that represents our new focus and promotes our clients’ campaigns. We wanted to keep it simple and succinct and will be looking to engage our visitors with user generated content and industry research.

“This is the first phase of our website, with exciting new developments to come. We’ll be interested in feedback from users as we plan to continually enhance the experience with our brand online.”

Overall, 2008 has been a positive year for the team at MassMedia Studios. The Audi team recently picked up a bronze DMA ECHO award for the work on the Audi S3 ‘It’s Not For Everyone’ campaign and won a regional contest with Rapp Collins for their creative concept for the launch of a new model in 2009.

Late last year, MassMedia was named KPMG Digital Export Leader at the B&T Awards for outstanding export achievement.
