EDUCAUSE delegates see OzIPortal in action for the first time

Perth, AUSTRALIA – 4 May 2009 – AARNet, Australia's Academic and Research Network, is demonstrating the OzIPortal at the EDUCAUSE Australasia Conference in Perth this week, where most delegates will see the world-leading technology in action for the first time.  

The OzIPortal is a tiled display wall of computer screens, designed to provide a high-resolution, interactive display in real time.

The OzIPortal brings together ultra-resolution visualisation walls and high definition video collaboration technologies.  The OzIPortal is a powerful new tool enabling collaborative research across great distances in real time with participants visually exploring massive data sets.

EDUCAUSE Australasia is the premier event for key decision makers managing knowledge technologies in tertiary education.   EDUCAUSE Australasia is being held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from May 3-6.  The conference attracts senior decision makers from Information Technology, Teaching and Learning, Library and Knowledge Management.
