Partnership Results In Software for Linux Based Transaction Terminals
GARDNER, MA (June 17, 2009) iPayStation, a global providerof prepaid and postpaid transaction processing, has released version 1.1 of its terminal software for the new Linux based terminal series from Dejavoo Systems.
“Dejavoo is a new promise in the terminal space, their management team has decades of experience deploying successful terminal programs and related solutions,” says iPayStation CEO Osvaldo Rodriguez. “Dejavoo’s transaction solutions combined with their advanced cutting edge technology intrigued iPayStation. Although iPayStation currently has software for both VeriFone 3700 and Vx Series terminals, we wanted to develop software for Dejavoo’s C, X and M product line. Their solutions are cost effective, software isdeveloped rapidly on their Linux OS, and we have a terminal solutionthat fits almost any retail scenario imaginable.”
Dejavoo’s President and C.E.O., Mony Zenou, says, “The integration of new peripherals applications, such as prepaid, into our core offering is an exciting use of our multi-app ability and the ultimate usage of our software infrastructure. The range of our terminals and related applications goes far beyond regular terminals with ‘My-SQL’ database, large memory, multiple USB ports and quite frankly, the dare for non-traditional innovations and ‘out of the box’ thinking when it gets to merchant services.”
Dejavoo connects iPayStation terminals to the back office for real time reporting, new services, and terminal/SMS messages. A new Dejavoo interface was designed for this, which includes a compact design, icons, relevant shortcuts and animated graphics, providing iPayStation a user-friendly, PDA style interface.
Zenou concludes, “Like consumers, merchants should expect to be able navigate between applications, connect to processors back office, get updates and promotions, after all, they are the consumers for ElectronicTransaction Processing.”
