Soaring growth continues for Vocus
Sydney 6 August, 2009: In another record quarter Vocus has announced new contract sales of AUD $5.6M for the quarter April to June 2009.
The spectacular revenue growth is reflected by the expansion of the company’s Sydney HQ and the addition of at least five new staff in the next three months.
James Spenceley, Vocus CEO, believes customers are growing increasingly confident about selecting Vocus following a series of high profile customer wins.
“There’s no doubt that our image has changed dramatically this quarter. We are no longer a new player – we are a well respected provider with an enviable portfolio of very large national and international customers across 3 countries.”
In addition to the contract sales Vocus has seen significant revenue growth in its voice business and from existing customers upgrading their services.
“This is very important to us,” he explains. “Seeing our current customers happy and growing is our priority.”
Spenceley believes that Vocus stands out from the crowd due to the unwavering commitment to customer service. The company continues to invest in talented and experienced engineers who are supported by dedicated account managers.
“We work closely with our customers to make sure we are delivering a service that they want and are happy with. So far it looks like our strategy is really paying off,” he explained.
A recent independent survey by telecommunications research firm Market Clarity showed Vocus’s customer service was rated higher than other providers due to the company’s reputation, network quality and the level of support and technical proficiency of the team.
Today’s results bring the company’s new contract sales to a staggering AUD $10.1M for the half year to June 30th, firmly positioning Vocus as one of Australia’s fastest growing companies when compared to the popular Deloittes and BRW awards.
