AFCOM SURVEY FINDING
(1) Government Agencies Are Less Environmentally Conscious than their Private Sector Counterparts.
(2) Cyber Terrorism Is Not Being Adequately Addressed by World’s Keepers of Top Secret Financial and Military Data.
AFCOM (www.afcom.com) the leading international association for data center designers, managers and professionals will release the embargoed results of its latest world wide Data Center Trends Survey Results – “A Closer Look at Greening and Cyber Terrorism” – while their CEO Jill Eckhaus is visiting Australia next week (October 26 – November 6). The survey results are certain to cause some industry and government controversy.

Ms. Eckhaus, Chief Executive Officer of AFCOM is making her first visit to Australia next week for inaugural meetings with Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra AFCOM chapter executives – tours of Australian Data Centers and high level discussions with State and Federal Government officials re the Data Center recommendations contained in the recent Gershon Report. AFCOM is one of the most respected world authorities in the data center industry with more than 4,000 members and 32 chapters worldwide, and provides data center professionals with unique networking opportunities and educational forums and resources through its annual Data Center World conferences, publications, regional chapters, and research facilities.
