Jackgreen CEO Appointment

Jackgreen Limited (ASX:JGL) today announced that Mr John Huggart has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Jackgreen Limited. Mr Huggart will commence with Jackgreen no later than the end of January 2010.

Jackgreen’s Chairman, Mr Greg Martin said, “The Board is delighted that John has agreed to bring his energy retailing experience and expertise to Jackgreen. John is asenior energy sector executive able to deliver profitable growth with a demonstrable track record of success. He is a strategic thinker able to identify, influence and implement and a leader who is able to attract, retain and develop winning teams.”

John has held senior roles including General Manager of Sales and Marketing, Business Sales and Retail Strategy at The Australian Gas Light Company, (AGL), and as CEO of Cleantech start-up Nubian Water Systems. At AGL, John was responsible for winning and keeping customers and retaining leadership in the world’s most competitive energy market. He was also responsible for the launch of Australia's first accredited Greenhouse Friendly electricity product, Green Balance and sponsored many carbon abatement and renewable energy projects including landfill and co-generation projects.

More recently, he has further proven his business capability by successfully establishing a consulting business specialising in sales capabilities and process. This business has helped dozens of clients across a diverse range of industries to achieve profitable growth.

The Board look forward to working with John and are confident that under his leadership he will successfully deliver the next phase of profitable growth for Jackgreen.

John is an Associate (ASA) of CPA Australia and has a B.Comm from UNSW. John is also a former Director of the Australian Grey Water Institute and formerly a member of the Victorian Department of Infrastructure Industry Strategy Group for Advanced Metering.
