This fun, fanciful and unique performance combines music, acrobatics, dance, comedy and audience participation, and culminates in the amazing million-trillion-quintillion hula hoop stack. The show will also include a ‘make your own hula hoop workshop’ where children are shown how to construct and use a hula hoop so they can join the hip orbiting fun.
Accomplished acrobat Isobel is the artistic director of Disco Canpito Association, an incorporated non-profit association which aims to promote and develop the performance and education of the performance arts.
Disco Canpito Association embodies Isobel’s passion for community arts as a vehicle to further community well-being for all through meaningful, purposeful engagement, participation and inclusion. She has performed this solo show in every mainland capital of Australia, as well as at the National Circus Festival (Tasmania), the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (including the Best of the Fest cabaret with Adam Hills, Ross Noble and Jimeoin throwing her hoops!), the LiveBait Festival (Sydney) and Port Fairy Folk Festival.
