International 4,500 Member Data Center Industry Body AFCOM announces Australian/Asia Pacific Expansion – Appoints First Regional PR

Orange, CA (Monday February 8, 2010): AFCOM - the Californian based, leading world Data Center industry body ( www.afcom.com) has announced plans to launch its 2010 Australian/Asia Pacific seminar/conference/training and recruitment activities with its first official Asia Pacific membership drive, opening chapters in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. AFCOM will also open its Asia Pacific regional office in Australia “sometime early this year” and is evaluating offers from Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

Quinn, a 20 year industry veteran, handled Gerry Harvey’s Computerstore account for many years, was Event PR for Internet World at Darling Harbour. His client mix also ranged from Olivetti Computers and Disney Online for Asia Pacific, to Navman GPS, VoIP telco gotalk and Strategic Directions, the master designer of the $220 million Polaris Data Center near Brisbane.
