RAD Offers $1,000 to First Person to Solve Online Brain Teaser

Announcement posted by RAD Data Communications 10 Mar 2005

Contest to Run until End of March
RAD Data Communications has announced that it will award $1,000 to the first person to correctly solve the Challenging Brain Teaser question currently posted on its corporate Web site.
Every three months RAD posts three separate such Brain Teasers. One is rated easy, a second is designed on an intermediate level and the third is admittedly challenging. All three questions, which are formulated by prominent mathematicians and computer scientists at leading universities, test the mind's powers of concentration, analysis and logic.
Our third set of Brain Teasers went on-line on November 1st of last year and it was scheduled to be replaced on February 1st, states Zohar Zisapel, founder and Chairman of RAD Data Communications. While the easy and intermediate questions were successfully answered, no one has yet correctly answered the third and most challenging question, he notes. We have decided, therefore, to extend the deadline until at least March 31st and, in order to encourage the public to respond, we will present the first person who sends us a correct answer with $1,000.
RADs Brain Teasers can be accessed by clicking on the logo on RADs home page at www.rad.com, or by going directly to www.rad.com/Article/0,6583,20746,00.html.
The names of all those who correctly answer RADs challenging Brain Teasers are posted on the companys Web site. Previous Brain Teasers and their solutions are posted as well.
The contest is not open to employees of RAD Data Communications or members of their families.
