Cafe2U Recognise Outstanding Suppliers

Cafe2U split the 'Supplier of the Year' awards into two categories, with the 'Franchisee Supplier of the Year' recognising suppliers that work directly with the franchise partners, whilst the 'System Supplier of the Year' recognises suppliers that work with Cafe2U National Office to improve the overall franchise system.

The 2010 'Franchisee Supplier of the Year' was won by Belaroma Coffee Roasting Company for both its outstanding commitment to quality in its production of the Cafe2U Coffee Blend, which also received a bronze medal at the 2010 CSR Golden Bean Roasting Awards last November, as well as its high standard of customer service and support to franchise partners. The award was received by Belaroma staff, including Australian Barista Champion Scottie Callaghan, who earlier conducted an espresso master class as part of the conference.

Viking Diesel & Electrics took out the 2010 'System Supplier of the Year' award for their hard work improving the Cafe2U franchise system, in the field of vehicleconstructionand equipment servicing. Viking Diesel & Electrics are the NSW distributors of Onan Cummins Power Generation Equipment and have forged a strong partnership with the Cafe2U franchise system. Unfortunately the team at Viking Diesel & Electrics were unable attend the award ceremony, however upon learning of their award Glenn Page from Viking Diesel & Electrics said "We were blown away to receive the System Supplier of the Year award, it is a real pleasure to work with such a professional team at Cafe2U"
