Modern Grace brings urban purism to the table

Announcement posted by Villeroy & Boch 27 Jan 2011

The dining finesse experienced in modern restaurants and hotels has inspired Villeroy & Boch’s Modern Grace collection, which blends soft curves with clean contours for a simple, fresh aesthetic.

Offering a versatile range of shapes, the quality and perfection of Modern Grace adheres to the motto ‘simplicity is the essence of design’ - a current trend being seen in today's homes and restaurants.

Made from bone china, this highly refined range conveys a lightness thanks to the interaction of the varying shapes, which include squares, rectangles, ellipses, circles and cylinders. Opening up innovative new ways to present and serve different dishes, the collection brings an effortless, timeless feel to the table.

Modern Grace Grey adds another dimension to the collection, with a distinctive character that reflects the spirit of the late 60s. Stimulated by geometric shapes and art deco patterns, each piece has been given an individual design. Hues range from cool metallic tones to bold, solid colour with matt and sheen finishes adding further depth.

Long-stemmed Modern Grace crystal glassware is the perfect accompaniment to this elegant range. Each glass features a gemstone effect at the top of the stem, making the glasses glisten brilliantly. Luxuriously curved Modern Grace cutlery provides added polish to the table and is designed to sit comfortably in the hand.

Villeroy & Boch’s Modern Grace range is available from selected department stores and The House of Villeroy & Boch, Chatswood (NSW) and Glenside (SA). It can also be purchased online from Villeroy & Boch’s e-Shop:
