Epson’s fast, cost effective label printer guarantees rapid colour-on-demand printing

Rapid printing of highly visible and durable smudge-free labels, tickets, wristbands and other application-critical items on a wide range of media.

Sydney 05 April 2011:   Epson has released an innovative, fast, versatile and cost effective desktop label printer that guarantees rapid colour-on-demand printing of highly visible and durable smudge-free labels, tickets, wristbands and other application-critical items on a wide range of media.

The EpsonTM-C3400 colour label printer with Epson’s patented pigment-based three-colour ink instantly produces highly durable labels for warnings on packages, colour codes on components, colour indications in patient files, colour-graded security passes, and a myriad of other colour-coded tools enabling a quick and intuitive response in customer/patient interactions with errors minimised.

The TM-C3400 can be used in a wide range of professional, manufacturing and retail locations to produce accurate, highly durable - even in hostile environments - and cost-effective colour-on-demand labels in applications for healthcare (medical, dental, pharmaceutical, hospitals, laboratories), logistics, retail, ticketing, travel, education, and more.

Output includes pre-gummed labels, wristbands, tickets, specimen labels, security passes, on a wide range of media types such as plain paper, fine paper, continuous paper, synthetic paper, die-cut label, PET film, and wristbands, in widths from 25.4 to 108 mm.

The integrated Auto-Cutter is standard and cuts rolls or continuous paper according to individual specifications. Unnecessary paper cut-offs are prevented and the need for multiple storage bins of many different sized or coloured labels is eliminated.

The Epson TM-C3400 can print at speeds up to 92mm/second1, depending on the size and resolution, and one inkjet cartridge can print up to 7,500 labels2.

The TM-C3400 can be placed on a shelf or under a counter to save space, as it is the only inkjet label printer with all controls on the front of the device, and enables quick and easy change of cartridges and paper. The powerful software and driver support enables you to perform central administration and configuration of large installations on up to 64 printers.

The TM-C3400 is available from selected POS distributors in Australia and New Zealand.
