Golden Garden creates a floral fantasy

Announcement posted by Villeroy & Boch 28 Apr 2011

Golden Garden is a classic collection from European tableware brand, Villeroy & Boch, using the finest porcelain with an elegant pattern concept.

Conjuring feelings of glamour, romance and fantasy, the range is inspired by the luxury and lightness of old Japanese fabric designs.

Golden Garden displays a delicate gold pattern of finely drawn blooms, branches and birds. Embodying the traditional Japanese art of Ikebana, each piece features natural shapes and graceful lines to create an innate balance. Presented in a variety of ways – from all-embracing patterns to individual images, the motifs are highlighted with a hint of rose, allowing the gold to unfold a particularly warm glow.

Contrasting the opulence of the floral detailing, calm, linear motifs have also been introduced. With a hand drawn quality, the decoration features golden rays that stem from rose-coloured beads. The interaction of these additional highlights allow for unique layering options and interesting table arrangements to be created.

Villeroy & Boch’s GoldenGarden is available from the House of Villeroy & Boch, Chatswood (NSW) and can also be purchased online from Villeroy & Boch’s e-Shop: http://eshop.villeroy-boch.com/au/
