Worksafe’s aggregated invoicing requirement completed in a click

WorkSafe Victoria’s recent stipulation regarding aggregated invoicing is dealt with simply and easily with iinsight’s latest enhancement.
In December 2010, the Director of WorkSafe’s Return to Work Division, Dorothy Frost outlined a new requirement for occupational rehabilitation providers to aggregate any instances of multiple OES or NES services that have been provided in a month.
“For many occupational rehabilitation providers, this requirement imposes a substantial administrative burden on them,” said Renato Parletta, Managing Director of iinsight rehabilitation practice management solution. “To have to devote resources to a task that is essentially non-income producing is something they can certainly do without.”
iinsight has responded to this new requirement by introducing an enhancement to its software that automatically generates compliant invoices. “We’ve developed a new invoice template, ‘WorkSafe VIC Aggregate’ that instantly groups all line items by charge code, listed by latest service date,” said Mr Parletta. “It also summarises the total time for the grouped charge code and generates total charges, with and without GST.”
The new invoice template satisfies WorkSafe’s information and formatting requirements.
“We recognise that occupational rehabilitation providers have a lot of demands placed on them in running their practice,” said Mr Parletta. “The landscape in which they operate and the rules that apply change frequently and so we’re proactive about staying in contact with our extensive user community to find out what enhancements we can make to our software to make it easier for them to run their practices.”
