Australia, 6 July 2011 – Research In Motion (RIM) has today introduced a
BlackBerry Trade-up Program in Australia. BlackBerry customers who
purchase a new, eligible BlackBerry
smartphone can trade in their existing eligible BlackBerry device to receive up
to $120 credit.

to receive a quote on the amount they will receive from trading in their
well-loved, older BlackBerry device when they purchase a new one. Buyers can
then purchase a new device through participating carriers and will be asked to
send in their old BlackBerry smartphone and new device’s proof of purchase to
receive their credit.
BlackBerry smartphones eligible for the Trade-Up Program include the
BlackBerry Torch™ 9800 and BlackBerry Bold™ 9780.
