Announcement posted by BlackBerry 06 Jul 2011

Sydney, Australia, 6 July 2011 – Research In Motion (RIM) has today introduced a BlackBerry Trade-up Program in Australia. BlackBerry customers who purchase a new, eligible BlackBerry smartphone can trade in their existing eligible BlackBerry device to receive up to $120 credit.

Customers can check out www.blackberrytradeup.com/au to receive a quote on the amount they will receive from trading in their well-loved, older BlackBerry device when they purchase a new one. Buyers can then purchase a new device through participating carriers and will be asked to send in their old BlackBerry smartphone and new device’s proof of purchase to receive their credit.

BlackBerry smartphones eligible for the Trade-Up Program include the BlackBerry Torch™ 9800 and BlackBerry Bold™ 9780.

More information on the program is available at www.blackberrytradeup.com/au.
