Shawn Yen, Product Manager of ASUS Australia, stated, “This guarantee
reinforces ASUS’ promise of pristine visuals by ensuring customers receive a
product free of dead pixels. The zero-bright-dot guarantee is part of our
commitment to provide our customers with superior products and service”.

As a leading manufacturer, ASUS is committed to providing supreme visual quality and is now extending its existing zero-bright-dot policy on LCD displays to notebook LCD panels. A bright dot occurs when a pixel with a defect no longer displays the correct colour output and is permanently “on” thereby creating a white dot. ASUS only uses the finest quality panels and ensures that all devices made available are tested to display the best image.
