Twenty of SA’s brightest entrepreneurial companies including thereitis, Fusion and Cyclopic Energy are sharpening their business pitches for the world’s two largest markets – the US and Chinathanks to the knowledge of international experts in the field on August 11.
Innovate SA and ANZA Tech are bringing the G/Score Pitch Slam to SA featuring Chris Shipley, CEO of Guidewire Group and developer of the G/Score program, Andrew Collins, CEO of Mailman Group and Rob Scott, Co-Founder and Director of China BlueSky Ventures and ANZA Director for Asia.
The session is designed to encourage innovative South Australian companies to consider growing their businesses for global markets.
A standardised method to assess a company as it grows from initial concept to scalable enterprise, the G/Score assesses companies regardless of their stage, market segment and geography benchmarking them against thousands of companies worldwide.
According to Viki Forrest, CEO of the ANZA Technology Network, “It makes sense that aggressive startups and early-stage companies focus on one of these two large markets.
“The G/Score will help SA companies determine which market is right for them and offer guidance on how to follow through,” Viki says.
According to Innovate SA Chief Executive Greg Boundy, “Innovate SA has a long and strong working relationship with ANZA which enables our clients to access international expertise early in their growth,” Greg says.
