Adelaide August. 23/ 2011
Archicentre, the building advisory service of the Australian Institute of Architects, is set to introduce Speed Dating with renovators at its next Adelaide Workshop, providing renovators a personal discussion with an Architect to discuss their project.
Glasses of wine and candlelight romantic chat will give way to discussions of floor plans, costs of construction and sustainable design to combat rising energy prices.
Archicentre State Manager South Australia, Edward Lukac said, the free workshop will provide renovators with an opportunity to meet Archicentre Architects who will each review some case studies and then be available to review and discuss specific projects during the speed date.
Mr Lukac said people thinking about building or renovating their home, doing a small alteration or major expansion, will be able to take a look at some successful projects and the steps you need to take before you start, as well as what to look out for before, during and after they start their project.
