Community CPS Port Augusta appoints new Branch Manager
Community CPS Australia has appointed passionate local Lynne Ward as its new senior branch manager in Port Augusta.
Adelaide-born Lynne has a long association with the region - more than 16 years ago she and her husband swapped city life for the idyllic outback around Quorn, renovating an old school house to become their home.
Lynne also built a successful career with Community CPS, starting as a Casual Cashier in 1995 and working her way up to become the Port Augusta Branch’s Assistant Manager in 2000.
In 2006 Lynne left Community CPS to pursue opportunities with the Local Council and the Federal Government, holding senior management positions, but couldn’t resist applying for the Branch Manager’s position with her former employer when it became available.
Mrs Ward said returning to the Branch was almost like coming home, and she was excited to work with the local team again. "I’ve always enjoyed my work at Community CPS, especially because the team here is just fantastic. Working within a supportive and well-balanced team every day is most rewarding,” said Ms Ward.
“It’s great to see our team grow, not just in numbers but also in capability. I think providing team members with opportunities to enhance their skills is vital to providing the best possible service to our members and maintain high levels of motivation among staff.”
