Bibby launches in Greater Western Sydney to support SMEs

Announcement posted by FCR (Financial & Corporate Relations Pty Limited) 29 Feb 2012

Australia, 29 February 2012 - Global debtor finance specialist, Bibby Financial Services Australia, has
appointed Richard Markowski as Regional Sales Manager to support increasing demand for debtor finance
by businesses in the Greater Western Sydney region. He commenced with Bibby this month and is based in
Parramatta.

According to Mr Greg Charlwood, Managing Director of Bibby Financial Services Australia, “This appointment
of Richard Markowski is an important step in our growth strategy in Greater Western Sydney to better service
local businesses. Greater Western Sydney is a very important Australian industrial region and we see
excellent potential for us to support these businesses, particularly manufacturers, importer/wholesalers and
business service providers.

“Richard is a qualified debtor finance professional who brings with him over 25 years of experience in the
debtor finance industry, providing a superior level of service and advice to the banking and finance industry.
With a focus on cash flow and capital raising solutions, he will be a tremendous addition to the Bibby team,
better servicing local Australian businesses in Greater Western Sydney,” he said.

Richard Markowski said: “SMEs in the Greater Western Sydney region are not well serviced by the banks,
who tend to focus their efforts on the corporate sector, which often leaves SMEs with limited professional
service or advice. SMEs cannot grow without strong cashflow and capital,” he said.

“At Bibby Financial Services we are focussed on supporting the SME market, and I am excited to join Bibby
at a time when we are seeing strong demand for debtor finance in NSW,” he said. “The debtor finance market
continues to outgrow all other types of funding both here and overseas.”

“Following the recent spate of announcements regarding mass retrenchments of banking staff, it is my belief
that the banks will further reduce their lending to the SME market in the coming years. However, at Bibby
Financial Services Australia, we are ready to take on that responsibility to assist the SME market through
providing our superior cashflow services and products.”
