Praxa signs as partner as SAP Business ByDesign gains market momentum
SYDNEY, March 21, 2012 – SAP today announced Praxa as its second partner for Business ByDesign in Australia. Praxa, a leader in providing professional services in Australia, will resell SAP’s flagship on-demand SaaS solution and provide customers with ongoing service and support. Praxa has also deployed the SAP Business ByDesign CRM module across its business.

“Our drive has always been to provide the best solutions and highest service levels to our customers - SAP Business ByDesign does just that. It has already delivered cost efficiencies and improved responsiveness for Praxa which we can now pass onto our customers” says Jim Aivaliotis, General Manager, Praxa.

It took Praxa just nine days to embed the Business ByDesign CRM module across its sales and marketing teams in Melbourne and Sydney. Over time Praxa plans to implement additional modules. “Our Business ByDesign journey started in 2011, when we decided that there is no better way to become a partner than implementing the on-demand solution ourselves. We now use SAP Business ByDesign day-in, day-out and reap the benefits for the business,” Aivaliotis said.

SAP Business ByDesign customers in Australia and New Zealand include:

Visy, a packing, paper and recycling company
Futureye, a management consultancy firm
Dragonfly, a security, audit and compliance specialist
QVS, a personal care products manufacturer and supplier
Soltius and Tango, both IT services consultancy firms

Launched in Australia in September 2011, SAP Business ByDesign helps manage critical processes such as financials, customer relationships (CRM), human resources, supply chain and project management – all in one fully integrated online solution. It is accessible via a web-browser and mobile devices, and localised to meet regulatory requirements in Australia and New Zealand.

Greg Harbor, Vice President of On-Demand Solutions at SAP said: “Having launched the first of our SAP on-demand solutions portfolio in Australia in September 2011, we are extremely buoyed by the market response to SAP Business ByDesign. Not only has the market demand been strong, the customer response to the actual delivery and execution of the solutions has been outstanding. This success creates a foundation on which we can accelerate market penetration of a much broader portfolio of line-of-business specific cloud solutions.”

“These are exciting times for Praxa and SAP. Being able to resell the solution to our customers is rewarding as they will be able to experience the benefits of SAP Business ByDesign for themselves. We look forward to bringing SAP Business ByDesign to organisations across Australia,” Aivaliotis said.

The SAP Business ByDesign Australian website also allows potential customers and partners to learn more about the solution, run demonstrations and find out what analysts are saying about the solution.

Praxa have also just launched a dedicated website at: www.mybusinessbydesign.com.au.
