Bridge Point achieves Advanced Data Centre Architecture Specialisation from Cisco in Australia
Brisbane, Australia, 29 March, 2012 – Bridge Point announced today that it has achieved the Advanced Data Centre Architecture Specialisation from Cisco. This specialisation recognises Bridge Point as having fulfilled the training requirements and program prerequisites to sell, design and deploy comprehensive Cisco Data Centre solutions.
The specialisation provides role-based training in three essential areas: Unified Fabric for optimising data and storage needs; Unified Computing for streamlining data centre resources and uniting network, computational, storage and virtualisation platforms; and Unified Network Services for advancing the way application delivery and security services are provided in the data centre network or computing environment.
“Bridge Point’s recent merger with Server Central means that we are one of the few companies in Queensland that can offer a broad range of services across data centre infrastructure, whilst providing a high level of technical expertise and customer support,” said Rob Siganto, Managing Director, Bridge Point Communications. “We are delighted that our skills, industry experience and commitment to providing the highest level of service to our customers have been recognised by Cisco.”
“As a Cisco Advanced Data Centre Architecture Specialised Partner, Bridge Point Communications has made a significant investment in the training required to help customers accelerate their business growth, reduce the total cost of ownership, and extend the life of its current infrastructure by making its data centre more efficient, agile and resilient,” said Ralph Nimergood, Vice President of Data Centre Architecture for the Worldwide Partner Department at Cisco.
The Cisco Resale Channel Program provides partners with the training required to build sales, design and technical talent and then validates their skills through a third-party audit.
