Zuora Launches Asia Pacific Operations to Serve Growing Subscription Economy

Zuora, the subscription billing and commerce <http://www.zuora.com/>  leader, today announced the substantial expansion of its presence in the Asia Pacific region with the appointment of John Ruthven as Vice President for Australia and New Zealand based in Sydney.

Ruthven will direct all regional sales and marketing operations across Australia and New Zealand, enabling Zuora to meet growing demand for its subscription-based service solutions.

Ruthven has more than 20 years’ commercial experience in the IT industry, including 15 years at CA Technologies where he held senior executive roles in Australia, Asia Pacific, Japan, and emerging markets.  
 
Ruthven initially joined CA Technologies as Sales Executive in Sydney and then went on to run the company’s ANZ operation as Managing Director, before being promoted to Senior Managing Director for Asia Pacific Japan. Most recently, he spent four years with CA Technologies in the US where he took on several global role, including Executive Vice President for Global Sales Operations, and General Manager and Managing Director – Growth and Emerging Markets.
