Record Nominations for CeBIT.AU Business Awards as Finalists are Announced

Sydney, 14 May 2012:  After receiving a record number of nominations for the CeBIT.AU Business Awards, CeBIT Australia is proud to announce the 2012 finalists.  The  CeBIT.AU Business Awards recognise excellence, innovation and achievement in the information and communication technology industry and have steadily grown each year since its inaugural year of 2007.

“CeBIT Australia has a proud history of recognising talented, innovative and successful organisations in the ICT industry. This year the record number of nominations shows a vibrant sector representing many different technology organisations” said Jackie Taranto, Managing Director of Hannover Fairs Australia. “The quality of the nominations this year has been remarkable, with strong representation in the Innovation category.”

An industry panel will be selecting the winners in the four categories of Service Distinction, Outstanding Projects, Business Solution and Innovation. The category winners will be announced at the CeBIT Australia ICT Dinner on Wednesday 23 May 2012, held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.

In addition to the CeBIT.AU Business Awards, winners of the Australian Government ICT Awards Program administered by the Department of Finance and Deregulation, and the Nasscom Innovation Student Awards, will be announced at the ICT Celebration Dinner.
