DriveAway Holidays launches the new Peugeot Leasing 208 model and confirms Winter Tyre / Grip Control availability on selected models.

As of 1st July, DriveAway Holidays will be adding the new Peugeot 208 model to the Peugeot Open Europe leasing program. This new model replaces the current 207 vehicles and will be available in three specifications: 208 Economy 1.4L, 208 pack 1.6L GPS-Cielo and the 208 Select 1.6L GPS-Cielo. These manual, diesel vehicles are highly economical and include air-conditioning.
DriveAway Holidays also announces that the Grip Control System along with winter tyres will be offered to leasers of the Peugeot 3008 Economy Diesel 1.6L GPSand the Partner Tepee Diesel Pack 1.6L at all Peugeot Leasing European locations.
Working in slow motion conditions, the Grip Control System is a traction control which manually manages all 4-wheels together with a steering wheel angle and brakes to keep the best grip possible. This system combines with the Michelin Alpin 8mm winter tyres to offer overall safety, grip and traction in icy or snow conditions at speeds of below 80km/h. Both the Grip Control System and winter tyre options are offered on these specific models at no extra change but must be specifically requested at the time of booking.
Driving regulations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland insist on the use of winter tyres between November – mid April and penalties can apply. When driving in mountainous terrain in winter, it is advisable to also consider purchasing snow chains which can be fitted at the Peugeot factory, ranging from $118 - $260 depending on the model of the car.
