Google Drive is a great new cloud collaboration tool - it synchronizes cloud files with those on their local PC. Unfortunately users of Google Drive are forced to use the single folder on their PC that Google specifies.
A new utility, called Syncdocs, fixes this problem by letting users sync any file or folder on their PC to Google Drive and Google Docs.
With Syncdocs, users can simply right click on any file or folder and have it synced online. Sharing files and folders to other Google Drive users is also just a click away.
“Google Drive is a great tool, however it forces users to copy all their files into one special folder in order to sync” said Donald Recsei, product manager for Syncdocs, “With Syncdocs, my Google Drive files can be anywhere on my computer, network or even an external drive”.
The full version of Syncdocs is a free download, users are only charged when syncing a large number of files.
