Announcement posted by Oki Data Australia 30 May 2012
OKI Data Australia, a global manufacturer of business range printers and multi-function devices, has launched a print solutions product demonstration centre at its new Australian headquarters in Macquarie Park, Sydney.
The demonstration centre unveiled today by Mr Takao Hiramato, President of OKI Data Corporation, continues the company’s strong track record of innovation and will be 'perpetually refreshed' as new products are released.
Initially, the facility will house the company’s range of multifunction, colour, mono, and dot matrix printers, many of which feature OKI’s LED printing technology which over the years has provided many significant benefits to users: longer product life, fewer operational issues, increased reliability and better image quality over the entire life of the print engine.
The facility will also serve as a centre of excellence for OKI to train and demonstrate product to dealers as well as end users. At present, OKI Data Australia has 120 approved reseller partners in Australia providing national sales and support capabilities.
Consumers are also set to benefit. Prior to physical purchase, customers with specific print requirements will also be able to test a recommended OKI product on everything from a basic printing demand through to a tailored, specific requirement.
OKI services a range of SME customers from workgroup departments within larger corporations to small businesses operating from an office suite or home environment.
Dennie Kazuo Kawahara, Managing Director, OKI Data Australia, said, “Our new demonstration centre has been designed to help potential customers meet the challenges they face with their printing solutions. Live demonstrations will help users watch the power of our solutions and see different equipment in operation while our experts explain what is really happening. Additionally, we will use the demonstration centre to help customers evaluate the savings they can realistically expect from a proposed print management solution.”
“To make solid decisions about printers and multi-function devices, you need to look at both technical and economic factors. The demonstration centre offers an efficient decision-making environment allowing customers to review all aspects of products they’re considering. Watching equipment run in our live operating environment will be a powerful decision-making tool,” added Kawahara.
The OKI demonstration centre is housed within OKI’s new offices following the company’s Australian headquarters relocation from Mascot earlier this year. The facilities have been designed to reflect current best practices in providing a centre for continuous innovation and learning.
The Oki Data Australia demonstration centre is located at: Level 1, 67 Epping Road, Macquarie Park, Sydney.
About Oki Data Australia
Oki Data Australia is a global manufacturer of business range printers and MFP’s. The company commenced operations in Australia in 2009 following the acquisition from long-time master agent and distributor, IPL.
Over 30 years ago OKI pioneered LED printing technology, an advanced form of printing using fewer parts compared with the more widely known laser printing. This in turn provides many benefits to users including longer product life, fewer operational issues, increased reliability and better image quality over the entire life of the print engine.
All OKI printer products are supported by Australian-based technicians and a three-year warranty.
