Boost to financial services in Roxby Downs

Announcement posted by Beyond Bank Australia 30 May 2012

Leading credit union Community CPS Australia is returning to Roxby Downs to meet the growing demand for financial services within the township.

Lynne Ward, the Senior Branch Manager in Port Augusta will be available by appointment to talk to residents about the broad range of products and services that Community CPS provide, including:

• New accounts and becoming a member
Loans including home and investment, parent equity, personal, car and business
Access savings, investment savings, community reward accounts, and term deposit accounts and
Insurance for home, contents, motor, caravan, travel and landlords

Lynne started visiting Roxby Downs on 30 March and will be available for appointments every second Friday to provide residents with the financial advice required in the growing community.

“I’m very pleased to be back in Roxby, and I’m looking forward to discussing personal finance matters with the local community. The town is growing rapidly, and so is the demand for personalised financial services, and I’m proud to be delivering those services through Community CPS,” said Lynne.

“Living in a rural town myself I understand the importance of face-to-face interactions, as it’s easy to feel isolated when the only way to communicate with an organisation is by phone or the internet.

“It is such a strong, family-orientated community, and I’m looking forward to providing assistance with everyday financial matters to those living in the area.

“We also have great services for not-for-profit organisations through the Community Reward Account, which supports local charities and community groups by donating a percentage of its average annual balance, so hopefully that’s another way we can give something back to the local community.”

Lynne has more than 15 years of experience with Community CPS, and she understands the needs of regional and rural communities, swapping her home town Adelaide for country living in the outback town of Quorn in 1996.

Her next visit to Roxby Downs will be on 25 May. Those interested in talking to Lynne can make an appointment by calling Lynne on 0419 959 220 or sending an email to lward@communitycps.com.au
