Protegic appoints a CFO
As Protegic continues on its growth path and affirms its position as one of Australia's fastest growing project management companies, it has appointed its first CFO.
Rod Fay, a chartered accountant with considerable experience in large organisations, is Protegic's new chief financial officer (CFO) and company secretary.
Mr Fay began his career with Touche Ross in the field of audit, but quickly became passionate about small to medium businesses and joined a boutique chartered firm in Collins St, Melbourne. He soon qualified as a chartered accountant and registered tax agent. In more recent years Mr Fay was CEO of a private hospital group, and accountant of a private school with over 300 staff and more than $30 million turnover.
"The new financial year brings with it a new and innovative business strategy and senior consulting partner positions for Protegic, which will help deliver stronger partnerships with clients," Mr Fay said.
Protegic CEO, David Thompson, said, "I am delighted that Rod is joining our executive management team as CFO. He is well qualified over a number of industries and brings to the company more than 25 years of business experience, with a dedication to the ethos of continuous improvement."
