Zucca Wins Best Greek Restaurant, Again!
On 30 July, Zucca Greek Mezze again won ‘Best Greek Restaurant’ at the 2012 South Australian Restaurant & Catering Awards for Excellence. It is the third time Zucca has won this relatively new category. Zucca previously had four consecutive wins in the legacy category of ‘Best Mediterranean Restaurant’.
Zucca’s Executive Chef, Adam Swanson, is absolutely thrilled with the win. “These awards mean a great deal to me. It reinforces the fact that we are providing excellent food and service to our community. It's also a great acknowledgement of the hard work and commitment our staff show every day,” says Swanson.
Swanson continues, “Zucca is committed to sourcing the best ingredients and keeping our food simple and true. Some of our regular customers’ favourite dishes, which no doubt contributed to the win, include the seared scallops with cauliflower and Persian feta cream, our famous loukoumades (golden donuts soaked in warm honey syrup with pistachio tuille) and the heart- warming Prawn Saganaki (high resolution image available).”
