Victoria Law Foundation calling for grant applications
Organisations looking for funding for their next legal project have four weeks to apply for a Victoria Law Foundation general grant.
Victoria Law Foundation’s
next general grants round closes on 12 September 2012. The foundation funds
legal projects that benefit Victorians.
In 2011/12, the foundation awarded $475,000 in grants. Most general grants awarded are between $20,000 and $50,000. Small grants are also available year-round if your project budget is less than $5000.
Applications are not limited
to legal organisations, any organisation can apply.
Applications are processed around two months from the closing date, so organisations could have funding for their next legal project by Christmas.
As part of its grants program
Victoria Law Foundation provides advice in project management, plain language,
education and publishing to help improve the success of grant projects.
All applicants are encouraged to contact the foundation’s Grants and Awards Manager before submitting an application.
