Makers of The DivaCup® Unveil New Website with Focus on Educating and Empowering Women

Queensland, Australia, August 2012 – Diva International, creators of the reusable menstrual cup The DivaCup, is pleased to announce the launch of a newly redesigned website, www.divacup.com. Diva International will celebrate its 10-year anniversary in 2013 and is honoring this milestone with a newly redesigned website and a renewed focus on educating and empowering women. The new website will address questions and concerns that many new DivaCup user’s have regarding the product with a Diva Q&A section, information on different period care options, tips on “that time of the month” for teens, moms and health professionals and a section where DivaCup users can share their stories.

“Through our day to day interactions and conversations we have with our Facebook fans, we’ve come to find that speaking about menstruation is still considered to be taboo, and young women are still not being educated about their periods or feminine hygiene product options,” explains Carinne Chambers, Vice President at Diva International. Carinne along with her mother, Francine Chambers who is a leader in the industry with over 20 years of experience, has helped make The DivaCup a leader in the natural feminine hygiene market and a reliable and convenient alternative for women. “With this new website we want to offer women of all ages a platform where they can find information on these important issues to best care for their bodies.”

In timing with the new website launch, The DivaCup will also unveil a new digital ad in Times Square on the Geoffrey-Tron, that will run for one year starting in August. The focus of the campaign will be on the product’s ease of use with a central theme, “Being a Woman Just Got Easier”, that will be incorporated onto The DivaCup’s new website and social media platforms.
