CMI Music and Audio to Showcase Innovative Technology Range at Integrate 2012
Project Energia – E15
Project Energia includes a new range of loudspeaker systems, which feature networkable Class D amplifier modules, onboard DSP, integrated signal and power distribution, AVB network hardware with software integration of control, and 3-D simulation and diagnostics. The touch screen interface of the Ground Control monitors the integrated AC distribution and UPS and guarantees uptime for all network components including related rack mounted hardware. To ensure reliability and a smooth integration of this complex technology, there are three beta test phases involved in the release. The E15 speaker box is the first product to be released as part of the Energia System.
Each array element of the E15 is built as an e-capsule, precisely engineered and constructed using aircraft grade lightweight aluminum. The patent pending skeletal structure provides an accurate and rigid frame for mounting the modular Autolock rigging system, while simultaneously housing a series of efficient mid/high components paired with our pioneering Co-Linear Drive Modules. The capsule is flanked with two separate birch ply enclosures, each containing proprietary Kevlar 15” woofer, capitalizing on the advantages of Adamson’s Advanced Cone Architecture. The result is an extraordinarily lightweight and compact array element.
DVA T12
In addition, CMI Music and Audio will be showcasing a number of solutions from DB Technologies including the DVA T12, a fully-powered 3-way mid-format line source system aimed at production companies and venues looking for ‘big name’ SPL and fidelity without the ‘big name’ price tag. The DVA T12 features state-of-the-art neodymium drivers and high-performance digital amps with total of 1,500W output power. In combination with high-end DSP and premium-quality AD-DA converters, it delivers top-shelf sonic image with massive SPL for large sound reinforcement applications making100dB go 100 metres a lot easier.
DVA S30N
DB Technologies’ DVA S30N subwoofer will also be on display at Integrate 2012. Featuring dual 18" neodymium drivers in a hybrid bass reflex housing, the DVA S30N delivers everything you would expect from large-venue dual 18” subs with 3000w of on-board power amplification, harnessed by networked DSP and delay control. This sub-bass powerhouse is the perfect addition to large PAs and an excellent complement to DVA T12 mid-/high-range units in stacked arrays.
