CA Technologies Extends Coverage in New Zealand with Senior Channel Hire
Sydney, 11 September 2012 – CA Technologies (NASDAQ:CA) today announced the appointment of Lourens Strydom as Channel Account Director, based in Wellington, New Zealand.

Lourens’ strong ties, coupled with his wealth of experience, make him the ideal candidate to help us develop our business, and we’re pleased to have him on board to take on this important responsibility,” said Klasie Holtzhausen, Senior Director, Channel, CA Technologies Australia & New Zealand.
In his new role, Lourens will be charged with supporting CA Technologies current customers and partners as well as driving growth in New Zealand.
Lourens moved to New Zealand four and a half years ago when he worked as a systems architect for Transpower. In this role, he primarily looked at strategic directions, governance and innovative technology deployments.
Prior to this role, he spent four years in the Middle East, managing presales and service groups for Sun Microsystems over an area including 32 countries. Lourens also worked for HP for eight years in presales and delivery consulting roles with customers and delivery partners in South Africa and a number of other African countries.
Additional support for Australia
In order to further develop its channel partner program and drive growth, Trevor Rogers has also been appointed as Channel Account Director based in Melbourne, Australia. Trevor will primarily be responsible for growing CA Technologies Solution Provider business in the southern region.
Trevor joins CA Technologies from Oracle, where he managed a number of strategic partners within Australia and New Zealand for the Oracle Fusion Middleware Group. Prior to Oracle, Trevor worked for HP for over 10 years, where he experienced significant success while building and managing several channel businesses – most significantly within HP Software, where he spent the majority of his tenure with the company.
Both appointments are in line with CA Technologies wider channel strategy focused on further growth in the Australian and New Zealand markets.
