Big Music Bands Set to Invade This Year’s Crows Nest Festival
The Crows Nest Festival gets livelier than ever with Big Music bands rocking it out at the Village Green
Crows Nest, NSW (October 12, 2012) – Get ready to get rocking at this year’s Crows Nest Festival as some of Big Music’s best bands perform live! Big Music, one of New South Wales’ most established music schools has gathered together some of the best bands of its junior and senior band programs to perform live at the Crow’s Nest Festival on October 21 at the Crows Nest Village Green from 12:30 PM onwards.
The Crows Nest Festival is a one day annual event that brings together some of Crows Nest’s finest businesses and community groups to show off the best that Crows Nest has to offer. The festival will feature hundreds of food and product stalls and of course, great live entertainment courtesy of Big Music’s awesome bands.
The bands that will be playing during the event include: Angry Pony, Tantrum, The Tempting, Trouble in Madison, Jagged Edge, Hip No Tonics, Lost Generation, 5 Second Rule and more. These bands are made up of members as young as 9 years old who participated in Big Music’s Junior or Adult Band Programs.
Big Music has helped numerous kids and adults reach their dream of playing in a real rock band and performing live in front of a large audience through its unique and entertaining Junior Band Program and Adult Band Program. In these programs, kids and adults learn about band dynamics, stage craft and performance, songwriting, exploration of musical styles and genres, improvisation and a whole lot more. And at the end of each program, the bands are given various opportunities to play and perform at well-publicised events like the Crows Nest Festival.
