Microsoft Surface 32GB (with Touch Cover) is the latest and feature-rich convertible tablet that comes with Microsoft's latest Windows RT operating system, a specially developed version of Windows 8 for ARM devices. It is now available for pre-order from MobiCity, Australia's favorite online mobile phone and tablet store.
The tablet has been designed with great expertise and attention to detail. Its anti-fingerprint body is made of VaporMg, a magnesium alloy that is much lighter and more durable than the usually used aluminium. It comes with a 10.6-inch ClearType 5-point multitouch HD Display with a high screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and 16:9 aspect ratio for amazing HD viewing. The device offers a sleek, stylish and spill-resistant Touch Cover that not only consists of a QWERTY keyboard with trackpad, but also serves as a cover for protection.
Microsoft Surface 32GB (with Touch Cover) runs on a powerful Quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor along with a hefty 2GB RAM. Its Windows RT operating system features integrated Office 2013 Preview with touch support for MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. Users can download apps from Windows Store as well. It provides an internal memory of 32GB which can be extended up to 64GB through memory card.
The device sports two HD capable LifeCams, one on the front for video calling and one on the back for photography and video capturing. It also provides an HD video-out port. Other key features of the tablet include - Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth v4.0, USB 2.0, stereo speakers, SkyDrive, Internet Explorer 10, Bing integration, 3.5mm audio jack, accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, light sensor and a 31.5Wh battery.
