Victaulic selected as NATSPEC Product Partner

Announcement posted by Victaulic 04 Dec 2012

Sydney - December 4, 2012 - Victaulic, the world leader in mechanical pipe joining systems, has been appointed as a Product Partner by the Australian National Building Specification (NATSPEC), recognising their product expertise, capability and versatility. Included in the latest NATSPEC update, the partnership delivers a Victaulic branded worksection offering a comprehensive specification guide for Victaulic piping system solutions.

NATSPEC is endorsed by government and professional bodies, providing an extensive national specification system to provide specifiers with relevant and in-depth information about product selection at the design stage.

The NATSPEC Product Partner program is designed to allow industry professionals an opportunity to easily gain product information and specification, and is updated twice a year.

“Our branded worksection, Victaulic in mechanical piping, is applicable across the industries – answering large scale projects and delivering small end solutions in the engineering, mining, HVAC and construction sectors,” said Gennaro Sposato, Regional Manager for Victaulic, Australia.

“Being approved and selected by NATSPEC to be a Product Partner is a huge endorsement. This recognises Victaulic as the leading mechanical pipe joining specialist in Australia.”

Victaulic in mechanical piping was produced in accordance with NATSPEC guidelines, and encompasses Victaulic piping, valves, fittings and accessories across a variety of applications and materials. The worksection provides specifiers with an alternative to generic product selection information, and helps to reduce time and risk when completing a project specification at the design stage.

“The objective of the NATSPEC branded worksection is to offer leading information in a consistent format to improve construction quality and productivity,” said Mr Sposato. “We want to make sure contractors, consultants and project managers can make informed and appropriate choices around mechanical piping, based on our branded worksection.”

The worksection is included in the National Worksection Matrix, as well as in all AUSPEC packages – the local Government specification system for the life-cycle management of assets.
