Ric Shaw Racing –The ultimate team for the ultimate endurance race

February 2013– The continued sponsorship and partnership between local Sennheiser Distributor Syntec International and Ric Shaw Racing has now spanned several years. Today Ric Shaw is excited to release the news of their participation in the 2013 Bathurst 12hr race.  RSR will be running the RX7 that they have successfully used in local production type races both nationally and internationally.

After running in the Nurburgring 24hr 7 times, Ric built the RX7 for the famous circuit in Germany, where they have had great success by finishing 2 years in a row.

“After the success we have had in Germany with the Mazda, I am looking forward to competing on home ground. We will have a rotary powered car in the 12hr race on the mountain just as we did in Germany.

We tested the car in April last year at Bathurst and it ran better than expected with a 6th place in the one hour race. Our driver line up is Andrew Bollom, my Targa Team mate and long time endurance team mate and Steve Borness who has driven the last 5 24hr races with me. This will be a great race with best mates; what more could you want?” said Ric Shaw.

Over the last few years alone, Ric has achieved;

-          2 podium finishes in the Nurburgring 24hr.

-          Podium finish in the Barcelona 24hr.

-          Class wins in the Targa Tarmac rally.

-          Competed in Aston Martin Nurburgring 2010.

-          Competed in Australian Manufacturers Championship.

-          Won the Wakefield 300 endurance race.
