Ajilon Fuels East Coast Expansion with GM Hire

Sydney, 4 April 2013: Ajilon is fuelling its national expansion with the hire of senior hitter Matt McGuire from IBM as General Manager on the east coast for its Banking and Financial Services and Telecommunications and Manufacturing businesses.

One of Australia’s largest business and IT consulting firms with over 1300 IT and sector-specific consultants and a strong client-base in its home state of West Australia (WA), Ajilon has been focusing its east coast drive on servicing organisations in the justice, health, resources and logistics sectors and will expand this focus with Matt’s appointment.

Previously WA state manager for IBM, Matt will be responsible for the performance of the banking, financial services, telecommunications and manufacturing sectors in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland and has been recruited for his great success in the business performance, customer satisfaction and staff management of IBM in WA over the last two years.

Matt brings significant IT and business consulting experience to Ajilon in addition to his management and growth capabilities with a very successful twenty-seven year career that has included many leadership roles for high profile companies in the IT and telecoms space.

Prior to IBM, Matt was the sales and marketing director at Bigair Group, chief executive officer at Integrated Asset Management, general manager of business retail at AAPT (Telecom New Zealand), vice president of both business development and account management at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), general manager of marketing services at Advantra, general manager Netfinity at IBM Asia Pacific Services Corporation (Japan) as well as WA state manager at national sales manager and marketing representative at IBM Australia.

In addition, Matt has worked as an independent consultant helping Australian SMEs with revenue growth.
