PeopleSoft Unveils New Suite for Higher Education

Announcement posted by PeopleSoft 04 Apr 2001

PeopleSoft today introduced PeopleSoft Contributor Relations to help higher education and non-profit institutions improve their fundraising.

PeopleSoft Contributor Relations increases both operational efficiency and fundraising capabilities by enabling customers to instantly track supporters, process gifts and pledges, build membership organisations, organise events, manage fund-raising campaigns, evaluate volunteer activity and track planned giving programs.

Using this solution, colleges, universities and non-profit organisations are able to spend more time attracting and retaining supporters by building more personal relationships with alumni, donors, volunteers and other constituents.

"Through this highly flexible solution, PeopleSoft is providing these institutions with the ability to focus on gaining more financial support, while at the same time knowing that the reporting processes are in place to deliver critical information in real time," said Andrew Barkla, Vice President PeopleSoft Asia Pacific.

The eight modules included in PeopleSoft Contributor Relations are Gift and Pledge, Prospect Manager, Campaign Manager, Planned Giving, Constituent Information, Volunteer Manager, Membership Manager, and Event Manager.

PeopleSoft Contributor Relations, like all PeopleSoft applications, is designed to provide the benefits of both stand-alone and integrated functionality. This open system design gives PeopleSoft customers tremendous flexibility and ultimately reduces the total cost of ownership over the lifetime of the product.
