Xero demonstrates value of cloud ecosystem with seven add-on partners exhibiting at CeBIT

Xero, online accounting software for small business and their advisors, is proud to announce on the launch day of CeBIT Australia, that in addition to being a sponsor and exhibitor of the event, seven of Xero’s numerous add-on partners are also exhibiting. It’s a clear demonstration of the value of Xero’s open API, which enables other cloud applications to connect to Xero’s platform.

Three partners will be announcing their integration with Xero at CeBIT – Invitbox, eWAY and Legrand CRM. KeyPay, simPRO, Shoeboxed and InvoiceSmash are also exhibiting.

There are now over 200 add-on cloud-based software applications that can be integrated with Xero, delivering all the business software functions you might expect including point of sale, CRM, job management, inventory and tools such as advanced reporting, benchmarking etc.

Xero Australia Managing Director Chris Ridd says interest in supplying add-ons continues to grow and accountants and bookkeepers can recommend Xero Add-ons to their clients. “Xero Add-on partners find a ready-made marketplace for their applications and services in the Xero ecosystem.”

Matt Bullock, CEO of eWAY says “We are proud to be a Xero add on partner and are announcing our integration with Xero at CeBIT. By leveraging Xero’s open API, we are looking forward to ushering in a new era of business insights and workflow efficiencies”.

Roger Gregg, CEO/Founder of Invitbox said, “Invitbox simplifies Accounts Payable processing by eliminating the need for data entry and paper bills to allow businesses to be more efficient. We are delighted to be working with Xero to provide partners and users with a tool that adds value to their client relationships and gives them a competitive edge.”

Xero is a finalist for the Top Business Solution at the CeBIT.au Business Awards on Wednesday 29 May at the CeBIT ICT Celebration Dinner and Awards Night. In 2012, Xero won both the Top Business Solution award as well as the ICT Excellence Award, which is the highest accolade in the Australian tech industry. The ICT Excellence Award recognises excellence in the provision of a product or solution to customers and also one that can demonstrate a proven track record of success.
