A refreshing twist for Taste Orange @ Sydney 2013

 

Taste Orange @ Sydney is back again by popular demand this August, this time with a refreshing twist. This year, Taste Orange @ Sydney will feature a two day, day and night food and wine all-out celebration, bringing this iconic region’s finest food producers, winemakers and businesses to the city. True country hospitality will prevail in Martin Place in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, so Wednesday 21 August and Thursday 22 August are two must-add-to-the-diary dates to ensure that you do not miss out on FREE wine and food tastings, cooking demonstrations, live music & entertainment.

On Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 August from 11:30am-2:30pm Taste Orange @ Sydney will transport your tastebuds all the way from Martin Place to Orange. With over 20 of the region’s leading wineries on show as well as 8 supporting stalls representing local business and industry and free tastings of local Orange produce, this is a lunch break you can’t afford not to take. Come and chill out in the lounge area and enjoy live music, giveaways and competitions. You could win a weekend for you and 9 friends in Orange at the Millamolong Polo Carnival, and more!

 

Pop Up After Dark.

 

On Wednesday21 and Thursday 22 August, Taste Orange @ Sydney will transform Martin Place into a ‘Pop Up Wine Bar’ between 5pm-8pm for those wishing to indulge in a little more of what Orange has on offer. In addition to the terrific range of the regions wines available for tasting, you’ll be able to purchase a glass or two ($7 a glass), or even stock up your cellar by purchasing some wine direct from the makers for takeaway consumption.

 

Taste Orange, often described as a leader in regional marketing, has been successfully promoting the Orange and District region around Australia for the past six years. “The Orange and District region espouses a multitude of fresh, quality food and wine producers and the 2013 festivities are designed to showcase just how great our offering is to the Sydney market.
