SYDNEY, September 4, 2013: AHE Group has been recognised as the top rated solar power installer in Sydney, according to data from Australia’s leading independent solar installation information website, SolarQuotes.com.au. The company is also the top rated local installer in the country.
To qualify local solar power installers had to have a Sydney office and have more than 15 reviews on SolarQuotes.com.au.
SolarQuotes.com.au has been offering independent advice on home and commercial solar power systems and installers since early 2009, and the data has been collated from thousands of satisfied customer testimonials and customer ratings.
SolarQuotes.com.au founder Finn Peacock said with the hype surrounding the purchase of home solar power systems, it was hard to know who to trust and how to compare what different installers were offering.
“It’s great to see good solar installation companies being recognised for providing outstanding service and quality installations because the gap between a good operator and one that isn’t can be vast and end up costing you thousands of dollars,” Mr Peacock said.
“With changes in tariff rates, different legislation, State-by-State, special offers and many deals that look too good to be true being offered on TV, radio and online, it’s easy to be sucked in to purchasing a system and deal that doesn’t necessarily deliver on the promise of cheaper, reliable, renewable solar energy,” he said.

“Like all things, there are high-quality, long lasting and efficient panels and inverters out there and there is also some cheap, nasty rubbish – initially it may do a similar job but it will not last anywhere near as long and is nearly always being offered by a less reputable installer.
“An initial savings of $1,000 might seem a good idea at the time, but if your system is not producing the power it should, or you have to replace failed components in the first few years of operation, then all savings can be lost,” he said.
