Anchor Safe Provides Height Safety Training

Announcement posted by Anchor Safe Systems 28 Nov 2013

Height safety equipment can help employees who are forced to work at great heights feel safer

Height safety equipment can help employees who are forced to work at great heights feel safer, but only if those employees know how to use the equipment properly. Anchor Safe wants all Australian companies to know that the proper height training is only a phone call away.

Australia – Mike Snyder (not his real name) was required by his company to climb to the top of a seven-storey structure to install a communications antenna. Snyder says that he should have felt safe because he was attached to a harness and tether line that was then attached to an anchor; yet Snyder didn’t feel safe at all. Though nothing happened to the 34 year old contractor from Sydney, Snyder says that he would have preferred to receive the proper training from his company prior to the other day’s frightening turn of events.

Snyder’s story highlights a growing trend among the construction, building and other industries that require employees to climb to great heights. Many companies succeed in employing the latest fall protection systems, such as static line systems, safety rails, safety ladders, roof walkways, and roof anchors, but many companies are failing to provide their employees with the proper safety training that could mean the difference between life or death when seconds count and the proper decisions truly matter.

Anchor Safe, Australia’s leader in fall arrest systems, also provides the suitable training to use the height safety equipment properly. Anchor Safe wants to help educate all companies and their employees on how to keep everyone safe and working at their best.

Anchor Safe helped Snyder’s company implement the proper fall prevention training immediately following the father of two’s recent mishap, and the company is now better for it. As for the company's other employees, they are now safer as well.

According to Anchor Safe, the company will come out to any jobsite to install roof walkway systems, roof safety systems, roof anchor systems, and roof access systems; they’ll even put in roof access ladders. But if companies don’t know how to use these height safety systems the way they are intended to be used, then all of the hard work and the company’s efforts to keep its employees safe will all be for nothing.

Anchor Safe makes sure that all employees of every company knows how to use the height safety equipment and falls prevention systems. Anchor Safe is passionate about the work and safety of the employees of their customers. For Anchor Safe, there is no other way to do it.

Anchor Safe also provides all the necessary training so that employees are always kept safe when it matters most.
