Kinetica beefs up sales and management team in wake of capital investment
Kinetica, Australias market leader in Enterprise Management Systems (EMS), has appointed three key personnel to support its expansion following the recent securing of AUD$3 million in venture capital. The new personnel have formidable combined experience in the IT industry.
Mark Gray has been appointed Financial Controller, with full responsibility for the financial management of Kinetica. Mark has held a number of senior financial management positions in recent years, including a five-year stint as Financial Controller (Pacific Region) for Epicor Software. Prior to that Mr Gray worked as Finance Manager for Toshiba in Sydney, following a career encompassing various senior accounting positions for organisations including Datamatic Holdings and Sterling Software.
Stephen Brass is taking up the reins as National Sales Manager. With broad experience in the IT sector, Stephen most recently worked as Manager of the Quintus Business Unit at eGlobal Technology Services, a start-up technology incubation company. His career of 16 years has tracked through management positions at market-leading companies including Legent, Software Developments International and USWEST Applied Communications.
Taking on the challenge as Sales Executive is Julie Spivey. With 12 years in the IT industry under her belt, Julie has extensive experience in computer and telecommunications technology sales. She previously worked for Compuware, setting up channel distribution for that company and has been active in sales for Clear Technology, an Australian systems integrator, and Telstra.
Commenting on the new appointments, Kinetica MD Steve Dixon said: We are thrilled to welcome Mark, Stephen and Julie aboard the Kinetica express! These are very exciting times for us, with our recent capital injection and name change, and the enthusiasm and IT expertise of this dynamic trio will make them a vital part of the team moving forward.
