Mitrefinch was first established in Australia in 2003, and ten years on the company continues to grow from strength to strength, having reported an 11 percent increase in sales for the 2013 financial year.

Across the Australasian region Mitrefinch secured up to 50 new business customers who will utilise their systems to better manage time and attendance information across their diverse workforce. These include; a large Victorian Government agency with over 2,500 staff; a multi-national paint manufacturer with over 80 retail stores across Australia; a global transport and package delivery organisation with operations in 200 countries; one of the region’s leading food manufacturers and exporters with over 1,000 employees at their world-class manufacturing site in Adelaide; and most recently a leading player in the automotive services sector operating in the distribution, retail and logistics markets with in excess of 1,100 employees.

From a product development perspective, Mitrefinch continue to expand on their innovative range of data capture options designed to collect employee attendance and job information from a number of different sources, regardless of their physical location.

They have also released a beta version of their new rostering and staff scheduling solution which has being designed for organisations with complex staffing issues, providing them with the ability to optimise staff allocation and ensure projects are implemented as efficiently as possible. Mitrefinch Rostering is currently been tested at a number of live sites across the UK, Ireland, the US and Australia, and will be officially launched in early 2014.

During the year, Mitrefinch were also recognised by the NSW Business Chamber, with two regional business awards. They were successful in the “Excellence in Innovation” category for their advancements in cloud-based biometric time and attendance and mobile workforce management technology, while Marketing Manager, Jamie Fitzsimons, won the “Young Business Executive of the Year” title.

In addition, they were shortlisted as finalists for “Technology in Application” at the Logistics Magazine Mercury Awards, with their time and attendance systems commended for reinventing the way organisations in the logistics and materials handling industry are managing their mobile workforces.

In capping off a successful year, Mitrefinch have just purchased an additional office within Homebush Business Village, to facilitate ongoing growth and further expansion. This state of the art new facility will be the company’s new Australasian head quarters, overseeing their operations in Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia and the Pacific Islands.
